Sometimes we get so caught up in gaining attention from others that we become trapped in the belief that it all worth, only to find it is empty. Being caught up in thirst was never meant to be a trap; it was meant to bring nourishment to the soul and the body. It just depends on what we are thirsty for. But sometimes what we are truly thirsty for is disguised as something that fix the craving for a moment and not forever.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate the story of the woman at the well. Was she thirsty? Yes, absolutely. But what she thirsted for and what she drank were two totally different things. She got caught up in the trap, but was freed at the well.
