Hi everyone!!!
I am so excited to announce that I have written and published a book!! Eeek!! I am so very excited letting this year and a half secret out! Whew! It’s been a challenge!
I started writing this book in July of 2019 and I was finished by July of 2020, I think. You know that almost everything in 2020 was a blur, lol. But, I remember in June of 2019, God asked me write this book. In my brokenness, God asked me to commit myself to Him and be in obedience.
I admit it was very hard to do. Everything that God was asking me talk about concerning this book was everything that I had not healed from yet. I was physically tired and emotionally numb. I hated the thought of writing out my feelings.
My feelings of disdain towards writing were significant but it did not stop the gift that God had given me. So, I decided to push through every feeling of hatred (yes, hatred) and negative emotion that I felt in order to be in obedience to God.
Writing and publishing this book is far beyond the dreams that I had for myself. Often, I felt as though I wouldn’t even THINK about writing a book until I was in my 40s. I didn’t feel like life had “seasoned” me enough for this moment. But God said otherwise.
My hope for this book is that it will be a blessing to many of you. I hope that as you read through my journey of healing, it helps you to think, ask questions to God, and heal too.
Thank you to all my readers that have kept with me throughout my blog. God had me create and write this blog in 2016, with it in mind that three years later, I would be writing a book that is cumlation of almost everything I have written in blog.
In the coming months, I plan to share with you vlogs that I made throughout this whole process. It was interesting and scary new venture, but I look forward to sharing how I felt in every moment leading up to this new moment.
